The Glen Rock Jaycees are a service organization that has been actively involved in the Glen Rock community for decades. We provide support to many other organizations in town, such as Sports Organizations, Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Corps. We award the largest scholarship in Glen Rock to a deserving high school graduate every year. We also sponsor many children’s events in Glen Rock throughout the year, such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Campout, fishing derby, and Santa’s train ride. The Arboretum Run is one of our primary fundraisers. Thank you for your support, and please thank our sponsors.

Junior Mile (8 & over) followed by two Fun Runs: ages 5 – 7, and 4 & under

The 5 Kilometer and 1 mile courses are along suburban tree-lined streets and are USATF certified.
All events begin at the Glen Rock Arboretum. Restrooms and limited parking will be available at the Glen Rock Pool, which is adjacent to the starting area.
ENTRY FEES5K Run Before August 30th 2009 $20 August 31st* through Race Day $25 Junior Mile and Fun Run $10 (including T-shirts)Race Packets may be picked up between 11 am and 1 pm on Saturday and Sunday September 4th & 5th, at the Glen Rock Municipal Annex on Maple Avenue. * Please bring your entry form and packet - do not mail it after August 29th We cannot guarantee T-shirts to participants who register on Race Day.

Awards and Prizes
Driving Directions: Route 4 West to Route 208 North. Get off the exit “Glen Rock”. Take Maple Ave North to 2nd traffic light. Make a left onto Rock Road and proceed through town. After the 2nd railroad tracks, turn right on Doremus Avenue. The run starts at the Arboretum, which ¼ mile from the intersection on the left. Traffic Control and public safety are provided by the Glen Rock Police Department and the Glen Rock Department of Public Works. Medical Assistance is provided by the Glen Rock Ambulance Corps. Access By NJ Transit Train: (Please keep in mind that you need to use the Weekends and Holidays NJ TRANSIT Train schedule. NOT FREIGHT)
